Rollover Pass, Galveston Bay, Crystal Beach Fishing Reports
Catching Some flounder, Caught some more nice reds one about 8-10#. The reds are starting to come in good now. starting to see them feeding around the oyster reefs with their back and tails showing above the water. Caught one black drum about 25# on dead shrimp
Conditions are good no waves, no seaweed, with good water clarity. Saw some nice big schools of medium sized mullets on the beach getting dogged by some type of fish about 50 yards offshore.
Catching Small flounders, Caught some nice reds yesterday the 26th one about 10# also caught some specks and small black drum, and a croaker.
Water has been rough with a south wind blowing.No reports of any fish but there have been very few fishermen to report.
Catching flounder on live shrimp and small mullets. Some Specks, Reds are mixed in with the flounders. The flounders are finally starting to move in in East bay and the Intracoastal canal.

water scare is over bacteria levels in the beach water are good again. Reports of a couple small sharks on mullets, seaweed is minimal but still in the surf. lots of mullets late in the evening, outgoing tides for evening

Still rough fishing in the surf. The seaweed is still here easier to fish on an outgoing tide.had one lady catch a blacktip in the first trough with fresh dead shrimp. out going tide in the evening
Had some fish caught this week. catching some reds, specks, flounder, drum and croakers. outgoing tides are falling out good at night.June 17th Specks, reds, and a 19" flounder more smaller flounder have been caught.
Kinda rough fishing has been some seaweed no reports on any good fish. Just not enough fishermen fishing to get a good report. Good catches of mullets in castnet
catching some reds and specks 1/2 the reds are undersize. specks were caught on live shrimp, reds on live mudminnows and dead shrimp. one large black drum was caught he weighed about 35# Report of some good catches of specks this morning on live shrimp. the wind has layed down some the last few days the water is slick this morning. Still some seaweed tides have been going out in the day and fall out at night.
Kinda slow with windy conditions we have had a few fish caught. anglers caught a few reds one was 27 1/2 inch redfish, another 26 inch speck, some whiting, a few drum, some sheephead and a few flounders.
Caught some nice keeper reds on mudminnows and live shrimp on the outgoing tide. also caught a few flounders most undersize. caught some specks, flounder and drum on live bait mjnnows and live shrimps. fishing has picked up some this week the water is getting salty again. winds are strong from the southwest the beach is rough and has some seaweed.
Reports of big reds and some black tips shark and black drum being caught on cut mullets and squid in the surf. The bayside is a little fresh right now at about 11 parts of salt. reports of decent gaftopsail catfish in the surf.
Still flounders with reds still being caught. some specks and some sand trout. The beach has had good reports of big reds and black tip sharks this week. most caught on cut mullets. some caught on bigger piggy pearch. also a large number of specks were caught in the surf last weekend.

Flounder Flounder Flounder Great Decent reds and specks on Mudfish. Flounder still good on live bait and some plastic tipped with shrimp. Specks and reds are still good at times mostly on live minnows.
Good sized Redfish on mullets or mud minnows. small to medium speckeled trout on live baits. Fair for reds some undersize most in the slot on live mudminnows - undersize reds on dead shrimp. Still Fair for reds slow at times some undersize most still in the slot on live mudminnows or mullets. Still Producing undersize reds on dead shrimp. catching a few specks during these weeks. Seeing more small mullets come in the ponds and canals again.
fair to good fishing at the pass on the north side doing good on reds, black drum, and flounder early with the outgoing tide. the south side is good on reds and black drum in the afternoon with a good incoming tide
